Job Title: Application C++ Developer

Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)

Location: Montreal, Quebec or Toronto, ON

Work Model: Hybrid (Montreal or Toronto preferred; no fixed onsite days)

Description:

Client is seeking an Application C++ Developer (Generalist) to join its team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of features, components, plugins, and applications supporting the Media and Entertainment industry.

Must-Haves on Resume:

• C++
• Python
• English language proficiency

Minimum Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Application Developer or in a similar role
• Strong programming experience in C++ for complex products, systems, and components
• Experience working on Windows OS, macOS, and Linux OS for cross-platform application development
• Solid expertise in Python or a similar scripting language
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team and across engineering departments
• Experience with Orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Familiarity with artifact and package management systems (e.g., Artifactory, NuGet, Conan)
• Exposure to secure coding practices and scanning tools (e.g., Black Duck, Gara Sign)
