Software Engineer (GO)

We are looking for a senior-level Software Engineer to join a strategic project for one of our key clients in the U.S. This is a contractor position with a defined duration, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-impact API backend development in a cloud-native environment. The project is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs using Golang.
• Work with OpenAPI specifications to ensure well-documented and scalable APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs into cloud-based solutions.
• Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of services in Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Support observability and monitoring efforts using tools such as Grafana, Google Managed Prometheus, and define SLOs/SLIs when applicable.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Golang programming.
• Solid background in backend API development with OpenAPI specs.
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably with Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (especially GKE) is a plus.
• Knowledge of API observability and telemetry tools (SLOs, SLIs, Grafana, Google Managed Prometheus) is considered an asset.
• Advanced English is required for communication with international teams.
