Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on prototyping a Kubernetes-based platform configuration, collaborating closely with a platform architect to implement proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions and prototypes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the platform architect to design and implement Kubernetes-based platform prototypes and PoC solutions
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Java applications to support platform functionality
  • Utilize Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Config to create robust microservices and configuration management solutions
  • Work with Kubernetes to manage containerized applications and ensure seamless deployment and orchestration
  • Use JBoss EAP to deploy and manage enterprise Java applications
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge with the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of platform components


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java
  • Proficiency in Java programming for building scalable and reliable applications
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment
  • Expertise in Spring Boot for microservices development and Spring Cloud Config for configuration management
  • Familiarity with JBoss EAP for enterprise application deployment and management
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher


Nice to have


  • Familiarity with Fluentbit for log collection and processing
  • Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization
  • Knowledge of OpenSearch for advanced search and analytics
  • Understanding of Prometheus for system monitoring and metrics collection
  • Experience with Spring Vault for secure secrets and configuration management
