NRMA Insurance has been helping Australians with their general insurance and actively supporting communities for 100 years. Part of Insurance Australia Group (known as IAG), we’re proud to be one of Australia’s most iconic brands.
Your Role
Joining NRMA Insurance’s Digital Experience team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping impactful digital products by supporting early-stage discovery, research, and strategy. Your focus will be on identifying the right problems to solve before delivery begins, helping to create digital-first experiences that are engaging, efficient, and user-friendly—particularly within self-service journeys.
You'll lead and conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to explore user and stakeholder behaviours, needs, and contexts. This includes setting up and running interviews, surveys, and discussion guides with light guidance, ensuring insights are grounded in real user experiences. You’ll be expected to identify adoption and engagement gaps in digital journeys to support long-term engagement and value.
In this role, you’ll translate research insights into strategic opportunities by mapping journeys, creating service blueprints, and producing insight reports. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider team—including UX, UI, and content designers—to design cohesive, user-centred solutions. Facilitating workshops and aligning squads and stakeholders will be key to your success, along with contributing to broader design strategy initiatives alongside senior team members. Your work will drive clarity across people, systems, and touchpoints, helping to uplift and reimagine the digital experience.
This is a 24-month Max Term Contract opportunity, and we welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).
