Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee energy infrastructure and construction projects from concept through commissioning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Manage project scope, timeline, cost, quality, safety, and risk, using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and industry safety protocols (HSE, ISO, etc.).
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners to align execution with design specs.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and change orders.
• Monitor on-site progress, conduct site visits, and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, project documentation, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage permits, inspections, and communication with authorities or energy agencies as required.
• Oversee procurement scheduling and supply chain logistics for construction materials and energy components (e.g., turbines, transformers, panels).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 5+ years of project management experience in the energy (renewable, power, oil & gas) or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project lifecycle, energy systems, and EPC processes.
• Familiarity with PM software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and tools like AutoCAD or BIM (a plus).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client expectations.
• Understanding of HSE regulations, permits, and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 9001, 14001).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
