Job: - Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Baseline Security Clearance Required)

Location: - Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane (Hybrid)

Duration: - 12 Months (Possible Extension 18 Months)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer for an upcoming project for a long-term contract with one of our clients.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions consuming Azure services.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Serverless Compute.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Azure Functions, Web Apps, Storage.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in blobs, files shares, queues and tables, Integration.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Service Bus and Event Hub, Identity.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Entra ID (AAD), Azure B2C and Entra ID Connect, Service principle creation, API Management (APIM).
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing APIs, APIM maintenance and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience with managing, maintaining and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform from on-premises or other private cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience with creating and maintaining solution infrastructure on the Azure platform, Identity maintenance and management (service principals, managed identities, etc), Patching Activities o Azure resource cost optimization through scaling or reservations
• Demonstrated experience in developing Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML pipelines for the deployment of Infrastructure using Bicep and/or ARM
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles and processes in context of Infrastructure management
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

• Relevant qualifications in IT, including cloud certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL and TOGAF
• Understanding of Azure networking concepts and technologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Commonwealth frameworks, including ICT frameworks
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks to ensure the reliability and security of deployed solutions.
• Ability to collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony
• Experience with GIT version control and common branching strategies

Responsibilities

• Work effectively across teams to provide systems expertise to enhance and improve existing solutions, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing solutions, in line with business requirements and software development standards.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
• Work effectively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the implementation of the Azure platform.
• Assist the application development teams with the development and maintenance of DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.

• Candidate must be an Australian Citizen.
• Candidate must have Baseline Security Clearance.
