Role: GCP Cloud Engineer

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on cloud GCP cloud platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache beam), Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer.
• Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with data integration frameworks.
• Proficiency in setting up IAM roles and policies, network configurations, and monitoring solutions to ensure robust and compliant data processing environments in GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) or other orchestration tools to manage complex workflows.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing, and schema design in GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, workflows, and data storage configurations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting tasks.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, Kafka, or other big data tools is a plus.

Good to have:

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or other relevant GCP certifications.
• Experience in machine learning pipelines, VertexAi or MLOps is a bonus.
