Looking for Art Director for a VR Experience:
We’re currently looking for a freelance Art Director for a Unity based social impact VR game, that explores the concept of privilege-distribution in society:
The player competes against several NPCs in a TV-like quiz show setting, to figure out who has the most privilege.
Important: This position is only available to persons based (registered address) in Berlin or Brandenburg.
Ideally, you can draw concept art – whether by hand or digitally – and you’re confident to visually develop and plan game environments and characters in Unity, with an understanding of lighting, materials, colors and visual flow. You’re comfortable navigating creative and technical decisions, and you enjoy working in English as part of a diverse international team.
In a nutshell, we are looking for:
- Experienced in 3D visual storytelling for Unity
- Confident working with Unity pipelines (URP/HDRP, lighting, materials, and scene setup)
- Strong drawing and illustration skills (analog or digital)
- Someone who understands how to balance artistic vision with technical constraints
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating in English
- You are based in Berlin or Brandenburg (mandatory!)
