CTO Office Technical Advisor (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Your future team

The CTO Office Technical Advisor works closely with the CTO to accelerate the organization’s technical maturity and innovation, with a strong focus on fostering collaboration across multiple teams. The role supports the CTO in analyzing technical solutions, monitoring emerging technologies, unblocking technical challenges, and shaping the technology roadmap. Special attention is given to advancing the company’s capabilities in cybersecurity, cloud, Kubernetes and containers, software quality, secure software lifecycle, and DevOps.

Your next challenge

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Build and maintain excellent working relationships with engineering, security, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment and drive collective progress on technical initiatives.
• Technical Analysis & Problem Solving: Evaluate complex technical issues and provide actionable solutions, demonstrating a strong problem-solving mindset and aptitude.
• Support and Unblocking: Act as a technical troubleshooter, helping teams overcome obstacles in secure software development and operational workflows.
• Technical Architecture: Contribute to the design and recommendation of robust, secure, and scalable technical architectures, particularly in cloud and containerized environments, leveraging a solid foundation in solution architecture.
• Tech Watching & Trend Anticipation: Continuously monitor advancements in cybersecurity, cloud, Kubernetes, containerization, and DevOps to identify opportunities and risks.
• Technology Roadmap Development: Assist in the development and refinement of the technology roadmap, ensuring it reflects best practices in secure software lifecycle management and quality assurance.
• Advisory Role: Provide expert advice to the CTO and teams on technology choices, with an emphasis on secure, modern approaches to infrastructure and software delivery.
• Effective Communication: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts and architectural recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting shared understanding and informed decision-making.
  
  

Your Skills

• Proven experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-driven mindset.
• Experience in technical architecture, particularly in cloud, security, containerization, and DevOps environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate technical details into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or DevOps (e.g., AWS, Azure, CISSP, CKA).
• Experience supporting senior technology leaders or CTOs.
