Medior Frontend Developer – Modern Tech Stack | Amsterdam (Hybrid)

We’re working with a high-growth international business in the mobile marketing space that’s looking for a Medior Frontend Developer to join their fast-paced, collaborative team in central Amsterdam. With a portfolio spanning over 40 countries, they’re modernising their frontend systems and looking for someone who can bring both technical skill and enthusiasm to the table.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of hands-on frontend development experience who wants to work across both legacy and modern technologies, alongside a fun and ambitious team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing high-performance, low-latency frontend pages used globally
• Working across both a legacy PHP system and a new stack built with AstroJS, Svelte, and TypeScript
• Collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences
• Supporting the design and development of international landing pages across 40+ countries
• Partnering with marketing teams to implement Google Ads API tracking and performance analytics
• Gaining exposure to frontend best practices, performance optimisation, and CI/CD workflows

What They’re Looking For

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in frontend development
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks – AstroJS and Svelte highly desirable (React or Knockout also considered)
• Willingness to learn and support legacy systems built in PHP
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Solid understanding of integrating with APIs and RESTful services
• A drive to learn and grow, with an eye on CI/CD pipelines and performance tools

Bonus Points For

• Experience designing user interfaces optimised for conversion and engagement
• Familiarity with frontend deployment workflows
• Previous experience in multinational environments or regulated markets
