Staff Engineer

Their technologies run on 500,000+ servers worldwide, trusted by major hosting providers and tech companies like Dell, GoDaddy, and 1&1.

The fully remote team includes 250+ engineers across the globe.

Your Future Tasks:

• Gather requirements from multiple stakeholders on a project
• Lead architectural design and technical direction for high-impact initiatives
• Guide multiple engineering teams in the adoption of scalable, maintainable solutions
• Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and align on priorities
• Promote engineering excellence through design reviews, mentorship, and best practices
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies, methodologies, and tools
• Ensure that all solutions are robust, secure, and performant in production environments
• Champion a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement
  
  

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on work with Python and Go
• Proven hands-on engineering leadership
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, production-grade software systems
• Ability to define and shape product direction — from gathering requirements to translating them into clear, actionable technical objectives
• Demonstrated ownership of the full lifecycle of major components
• Strategic thinking — you understand broader business and product goals and can make informed technical trade-offs accordingly
• Background in technical product management or direct influence on product roadmaps
