Globally we have more than 5000 partner salons in total using our solutions.

We provide an online beauty booking marketplace with our Kolay Randevu brand in Turkey to Turkish beauty businesses (such as beauty salons, hair salons, nail salons etc.). In addition to Kolay Randevu, we also have an All-in-one SaaS salon management solution with our SalonAppy brand for beauty businesses and professionals all around the world working in more than 20 languages.

While our Kolay Randevu platform lets end users find and book their beauty appointments, our SalonAppy apps let salons manage their calendar, resources, sales, finances, marketing and more. Both of our platforms work integrated with each other.

Position Overview:

We're seeking a motivated Backend Development Trainee proficient in PHP and Laravel framework to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in building robust, scalable backend systems while working closely with experienced developers. If you're eager to expand your skills, tackle real-world challenges, and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP using the Laravel framework.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and performance.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate backend logic with user interfaces.
• Assist in identifying and implementing solutions to improve system architecture and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PHP programming language.
• Familiarity with Laravel framework and its ecosystem.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend development concepts.
• Basic knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Other information:

We have a hybrid working schedule for our full time colleagues working 2 days in our office in Suadiye and 3 days remotely. We expect our trainees and part time colleagues to join us in our office days for us to be able to better help them improve their skillset.
