Freelance Senior Python Developer (Remote from Poland)

Start Date: ASAP

Experience: 5–10 years

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our client's growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of scalable systems using Python, FastAPI, and microservices architecture. Candidates with experience in AI/ML tools and API integrations will be particularly well-suited for this role. Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable microservices and backend systems using Python
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and engineers
• Participate in architectural design and solution planning
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to best practice improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and support internal knowledge sharing
• Optionally mentor junior developers or lead small development teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
• Strong experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks (e.g., Flask, Jupyter, Crew AI)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Knowledge of development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools
• Experience with Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
