A fast-growing, product-led software company in Dubai is looking for a Principal Software Engineer with strong Rust experience to lead backend development. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who has previously operated as a Lead or Principal Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of backend systems using Rust
• Make strategic architecture and technical decisions
• Guide and mentor other engineers in the team
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership teams
• Drive engineering best practices and scalable system design

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering
• Recent hands-on experience with Rust in a production environment
• Previous experience as a Lead or Principal Engineer
• Strong background in backend architecture and distributed systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai
