Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) – Facility Management

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in the facility management division. The HRBP acts as a consultant to operations leadership and frontline managers on all human resource-related issues, including workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and talent development across soft and hard FM services.
Responsibilities Include
- Strategic HR Support: Partner with FM operations leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide workforce planning support for large-scale FM contracts and mobilizations.
- Employee Relations & Performance: Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Support performance management processes, ensuring objective evaluations and development plans.
- Recruitment & Mobilization: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for hiring blue-collar and white-collar staff across FM contracts.
- Coordinate large workforce deployments, especially during project start-ups and transitions.
- Learning & Development: Identify training needs and support career development planning specific to FM technicians, supervisors, and site managers.
- Coordinate technical and soft skills training with L&D teams. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws, company policies, and HSE requirements. Support audits and ensure accurate documentation of HR records for FM staff.
- Engagement & Retention: Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to site-based staff.
- Analyze attrition trends and implement retention strategies.
- Data & Reporting: Provide HR metrics and reports related to attendance, productivity, overtime, and absenteeism for FM contracts.
- Track and report on key HR KPIs to support business decisions.
- Hands-on experience managing large, multicultural blue-collar workforce in FM, MEP, or construction environment.
Here’s what you’ll need
- Qualifications: Must be Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, etc.) preferred.
- Must have experience: 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a similar HRBP role in the facility management or contracting/services industry.
- Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance, and labor regulations.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with high volume workforce.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC labor laws (if applicable).
