About The Opportunity

Our Strategic Consulting business are looking for an Associate Director to develop and write business advice from strategy to execution to help solve our clients’ most complex business challenges.

Jacobs’ Strategic Consulting team provides strategic advisory in all phases of the business life cycle, informed by our operational knowledge and deep functional expertise. By integrating strategic and technical expertise, we support the full spectrum of client functions from executive leadership project delivery and operations.

The selected candidate must have excellent team-player attitude, with ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and accountability to others. To thrive in this role, you’ll be self-motivated, inquisitive, and willing to challenge established practice. You will

  • Lead technically projects in business strategies using tools such as project management, agile methodology, and risk Management.
  • Coach Junior resources to collect, analyses, and translate large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into realistic forecast, plans, goals, and actionable.
  • Manage tasks and team to execute and delivery the projects stream works, within the agreed timeline and budget agreed with the other project directors and the clients.
  • Lead engagement teams to provide high quality strategies and operating models, and recommendations with commercial impact.
  • Identify and address client needs, actively attending client discussions and meetings.
  • Able to standup in complex business discussion and present in front of C-level officers, stakeholders executives, government authorities’ offices.

Here's what you'll need

  • At least 15+ years in consulting with projects in business strategy, business transformation, value chain analysis, digital transformation, market and financial analysis.
  • Strong academic background in business administration or finance. MBA or PhD are preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge in Project Management.
  • Experience in Data Modelling or Financial Modelling and possibly Data Analytics Tools & Software
  • Ability to lead and influence teams and decisions through effective communication skills.
  • Ability to form positive/effective relationships with clients and co-workers to satisfy both internal and external customer requirements.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to train and mentor more junior members of staff
  • Experience of business development such as proposal writing or developing commercial propositions.
