Junior PHP Developer (Entry Level) (Remote)

Job_Summary:

Motu Novu is an international federation of independent professionals, and they are seeking a Junior PHP Developer. The role involves writing PHP server-side code and contributing to the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of applications used by the firm and its clients.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, effective, fast, maintainable, PHP code.

• Contribute to all phases of the development life-cycle, following industry best practices.

• Maintain well-written, terse, useful documentation for existing and new applications.

Qualifications:

-Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years or More experience

• Good knowledge of the fundamentals of programming

• Good knowledge of PHP

• Knowledge of Symfony and jQuery

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git

• Familiarity with React, MySQL/MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL

• Confident and poised attitude in internal and external interactions

• Good oral and written communications skills

• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

• English – European CEFR Level B2 or higher or equivalent proficiency

• Bone-fide setup as an independent contractor
