Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI/ML team in Europe. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and systems that power intelligent applications across our products and services. The ideal candidate has strong foundations in ML, data engineering, and software development, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable machine learning models for real-world applications (e.g., recommendation systems, predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision).
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to define ML use cases and implement solutions.
• Deploy ML models into production using MLOps frameworks and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker).
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Monitor model performance and ensure continuous improvement through retraining and feedback loops.
• Build and maintain pipelines for data collection, labeling, model training, and deployment.
• Ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance (e.g., GDPR) in ML systems.
• Stay updated with the latest research, technologies, and best practices in machine learning and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, or data science roles.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML infrastructure tools.
• Strong understanding of statistics, algorithms, and data structures.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, Spark), and APIs.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
