Job Description

  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Ideally suited to experienced Program Manager with experience in superannuation employer portals and clearing house
  • Hybrid working - Sydney or Melbourne role

Data, Technology & Delivery are accountable for planning and preparing the organisation for the future through strategic technology innovation as well as charting our business strategy and executing for today and tomorrow.


The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Employer Portal and Clearing House Transition Program.


The individual will report to the Portfolio Director, lead the program team, and work closely with key business stakeholders to deliver the program objectives and ensure safe, effective and efficient delivery of change that enables planned strategic benefits.


  • Lead and execute programme delivery, ensuring achievement of objectives within cost, quality, risk, schedule, scope, and benefit parameters.
  • Develop and own the programme business case, managing deviations through appropriate governance channels.
  • Chair relevant project committees and manage programme financials in line with Rest policies.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, including internal and external partners, programme sponsor, and vendors.
  • Act as the programme representative at Rest and with external partners, liaising with portfolio management and executive governance forums.
  • Champion risk and issue management across the programme, directing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide project team members to optimise resource utilisation and build project management capabilities across Rest.


Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, project management or relevant business discipline
  • Project Management Certification e.g. PMI/Prince 2 Certification or equivalent Scrum master/Agile certification (optional)
  • Program Management experience managing budgets of $5M plus and some experience in running projects in an agile environment.
  • Experience with superannuation employer portals and clearing house (preferred)
  • Experience leading customer transition projects
  • Experience managing external technology vendors
  • Evidence of successful customer/stakeholder executive management, particularly as part of business transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated strategic, analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Solid understanding of how organisational change management enables successful business transformation.
  • Managing financial and performance analysis with program reporting.
