You will join the Reward team, a key part of our Group People function. Our mission is for the full Nordea Group to design and deliver reward programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent while aligning with business goals. The position reports to the Head of Broad Based Reward and will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Group People, Group Functions and our business areas.

About This Opportunity
As a Senior Reward Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering key elements of our reward strategy, with a strong emphasis on pay equity and fixed and variable pay plans. You will play a critical role in ensuring effective design, implementation, and operation of reward structures and processes.
What you will be doing:
- Pay equity and transparency: Contribute to the further development and management of our pay equity and transparency efforts, which are a current key focus
- Governance and compliance: Ensure reward practices comply with relevant legislation, internal policies, and governance frameworks
- Reward design and operations: Develop and improve reward processes, including salary reviews, pay setting, and incentive plans
- Job architecture and grading: Support the development and management of job levelling frameworks, ensuring roles are properly graded, and aligned with our strategic goals
- Benchmarking: Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to maintain competitive and equitable reward practices
- Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with business leaders, People teams, and external providers to deliver data-driven reward solutions
- Continuous improvement: Monitor industry trends and best practices, driving innovation in reward strategies and processes

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in reward roles, with expertise in variable pay plan design and operations, and a strong focus on pay equity
- Additional experience in job architecture, benchmarking, and grading methodologies (e.g., Hay, Mercer) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including high proficiency in Excel
- Experience working in complex legal and regulatory environments is a strong advantage, with a preference for financial industry experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage with employees at all levels
- Master degree or equivalent in HR, Business, or related field
- Professional level in English language, verbal and written
