Packaging Localization Designer
Cork (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Rate: €21 per hour
Initial 9-month Fixed Term Contract with high chance of extension or conversion to a permanent position.
Overview:
Our client, a leading company in the consumer electronics sector, is seeking a Packaging Localization Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for localizing packaging assets across various product categories, ensuring accuracy and adherence to branding and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate, print-ready packaging files in multiple languages
Adapt layouts in line with existing design guidelines and brand standards
Ensure compliance with regional and legal requirements across different markets
Review mark-ups and adjust designs accordingly
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including compliance, design, and product
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Essential Skills & Experience:
3+ years' experience in packaging localization or graphic design
Strong knowledge of regionalization and compliance in packaging
Prepress production expertise and understanding of various print processes
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop
Excellent attention to detail and layout accuracy for multilingual packaging
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize under pressure
Strong communication skills in English
Desirable:
Previous experience in packaging design
Background in the tech or electronics industry
Certification in graphic design, print production, or equivalent (e.g. Polygraphe
