Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Function Riga is part of the SEB CRO Function. Our department is responsible for a wide scope of risk related processes within SEB CRO Function . The main responsibility for CRO Function is to identify, measure, monitor and analyze SEB’s risks.

About The Role

As a member of Market Data team, you will play an important role in ensuring the market data used for both Risk calculations and Finance is accurate and provided in a timely manner, as well as checking the accuracy of financial instrument position valuations. You will be analyzing historical time series/trends using various techniques, detecting data anomalies, and drawing conclusions on data quality.

You will have the opportunity to participate in cross-country projects and initiatives related to both regulatory and non-regulatory matters. The work will involve and require both quantitative and qualitative set of skills.

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have

• University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or similar
• Good understanding of financial instruments
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Ability to work with complex and large arrays of data
• Proactive, self-driven and able to work both in the team and individually
• Eager to learn new things and accept challenges
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Great communication skills and fluency in English
• Experience from working with SQL, VBA and/or Python would be considered as advantage

Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
