Role Description

We’re seeking an experienced Navigation Developer with strong Android (Java) skills to join our team for a leading client in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The role involves developing in-truck navigation and infotainment systems using Android SDK/AOSP, integrating with vehicle networks (J1939, CAN bus), and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Qualifications:

• 8+ years in Android development (Java)
• Expertise in Android SDK, AOSP, and debugging tools
• Experience with vehicle communication protocols (J1939, CAN)
• Proficient in Python scripting and Git workflows
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to Have:

• IVI/navigation system experience
• Knowledge of HMI, GPS, mapping SDKs
• C++/Kotlin experience
• Automotive/OEM background and safety standards (ISO 26262)
