What You’ll Do:
- Improve Observability: Enhance logging, alerting, and monitoring to ensure maximum uptime and early incident detection.
- Infrastructure Evolution: Help unify and maintain backend infrastructure as we transition toward Kubernetes, while managing legacy VMs and container-based environments.
- Tool Ownership: Support and expand internal tools for CI/CD, provisioning, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, data teams, and product stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure is robust and scalable.
- Drive Reliability: Proactively identify and address issues in production systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Cloud Operations: Operate across cloud platforms including Azure and AWS, using tools such as Jenkins, Octopus, TeamCity, and GitHub Actions.
- On-Call Excellence: Participate in a team-wide rotation to respond to incidents and ensure system availability.
You’ll have:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Strong background in builds, deployments, monitoring, and testing
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Hands-on expertise with observability and alerting tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry, PagerDuty, Pingdom)
- Scripting proficiency (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, Java)
- Familiarity with automated testing and tools like Selenium
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and critical thinking skills

- Salary: Competitive monthly salary – up to 34,633 gross RON per month
