Position: Assistant Manager, Business Analytics

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: Up to AED 16,000 per month

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Business Analytics to lead data-driven initiatives and deliver actionable insights that steer strategic decisions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop analytical solutions, dashboards, and reports that optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain advanced SQL queries; optimize database performance and tuning
• Build and manage ETL pipelines, relational databases, and data-warehousing solutions
• Leverage Python (pandas, NumPy) for data cleansing, transformation, and statistical analysis
• Develop desktop/web analytical tools using .NET frameworks (non-mobile)
• Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for real-time business monitoring
• Construct advanced Excel models with VBA and macros for ad-hoc analyses
• Handle large datasets efficiently, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity
• Translate financial metrics and KPIs into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in analytics, with proven SQL and Python expertise
• Hands-on .NET and app-development experience (desktop/web)
• Expert in Power BI and advanced Excel (modeling, VBA, macros)
• Strong background in finance—comfortable interpreting financial data and KPIs
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
