About This Role
Lieferando is looking for a Project Manager to join its strategy team, working alongside a small team of strategy and program managers. Reporting into the Head of Strategy, you’ll be part of Lieferando’s country coordination function, at the heart of the business and across all the exciting developments and initiatives we have planned. You will work cross-functionally to deliver programs and projects that drive our performance.
This role will involve working on a varied and exciting set of projects from start to end, covering a wide span of topics across critical parts of our business, like loyalty, expansion, and our go-to-market strategy. You will help to ensure these key initiatives are delivered on time and to plan, keeping senior stakeholders informed of progress and milestones.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Lead select strategic projects and programs for Lieferando, including cross-functional projects in a variety of topic areas;
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets; create project tracking and documentation as needed, to inform broader stakeholders regarding project progress;
- Work cross-functionally to drive and understand the success of these projects and programs. Provide direction, support and guidance to project teams to ensure efficient and effective teamwork;
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project to minimise their impact, engaging stakeholders as needed;
- Contribute to performance reporting on key parts of our business, e.g. supporting with the creation of Quarterly and Monthly business review materials as needed;
- Work with the broader strategy team to help identify key future bets and opportunities for innovation, helping to establish our longer-term strategic agenda and innovation.
- Already based in Berlin or commuting distance;
- Experience in project or program management, ideally across multiple functions and engaging senior stakeholders;
- Project management qualifications or certifications are desirable but not required;
- Strong business acumen, including understanding of financial / commercial KPIs for a consumer-facing marketplace business;
- Highly effective communication, including the ability to communicate complex business information in a concise and understandable manner and strong deck creation skills;
- Strong teamwork skills, including experience working with a range of stakeholders from different functions, ideally with exposure to a matrixed organisation;
- Very organised; effective with planning, scheduling and budgeting to deliver according to set deadlines;
- Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a can-do attitude, proactivity, and ability to thrive in a range of environments;
- Fluent in English and German.
