The Role

As a Senior Engineer in a managed services provider company, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions for multiple clients. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality services, meeting client KPIs, maintaining SLAs based on Response and Resolution, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include

• Deliver expert-level (2nd/3rd line) support across a wide range of technologies and clients.
• Handle escalated incidents, problems, and service requests from Level 1 and 2 engineers.
• Investigate and resolve root causes, implementing permanent fixes where needed.
• Meet or exceed SLAs for response and resolution times to ensure client satisfaction.
• Work in line with ITIL v4 practices, including:
• Incident, Problem, and Service Request Management
• Change Enablement
• Continual Improvement
• Help improve internal processes and technical solutions with the wider team.
• Act as Technical Lead for specific clients and technologies.
  

Required Skills And Professional Experience

• Storage and SAN (Dell, NetApp)
• Compute (HP and Dell)
• Hypervisor (Vmware, Hyper-V)
• Windows OS (Windows Server 2012 and above)
• Windows OS components
• Exchange Server (Hybird)
• Domain Services (Active Directory, etc)
• Microsoft Azure Services
• Microsoft 365
• Strong IP/Networking skills (Good understanding of TCP /IP and ISO Model, troubleshooting tools)
• Security focused mindset and technical approach
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Certification to backup technical expertise

• Be able to utilise all tools available to resolve 95% of issues at the first time of asking.
