IP/Optical Network Engineer

Optical Network Engineers - Design & Operations Roles

We're hiring for multiple roles in partnership with a global client, focused on large-scale optical network development and operations.

We're looking for two types of profiles:

1. Network Design Engineers

You'll be working on the design, deployment, and automation of high-capacity optical transport networks. A solid understanding of Optical OR IP Networking fundamentals is essential, along with strong experience in network design, planning, and automation.

What you'll do:

• Design and scale DWDM-based optical networks.
• Automate network deployment and provisioning processes.
• Collaborate across IP, transport, and operational teams.
• Drive performance, resilience, and scalability initiatives.

2. Network Operations Engineers

For our operations-focused team, we're seeking engineers with hands-on troubleshooting and support experience, plus a solid foundation in IP or Optical networking basics. Ideal for those with an operations or NOC background who want to grow in a high-performance environment.

What you'll do:

• Support and troubleshoot issues across optical and IP layers.
• Work with platforms like Ciena, Infinera, Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia.
• Maintain network reliability and contribute to process improvements.

What We're Looking For (All Roles)

• 5+ years in network engineering or operations.
• Strong grasp of DWDM, CWDM, or routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Bash) is a plus.
