Join Elia's dynamic team as Senior .Net Architect, where you will play a key role in the development and improvement of our IT applications. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology who is able to support business processes, while ensuring code quality and efficiency.

The main role of the .Net Software Architect is to guarantee the optimum development of IT applications, in compliance with established standards, while providing advanced technical support to the development team.

You will be part of the Development Chapter, which comprises all the software engineers, who develop talent and manage resources to create robust, scalable software solutions in the Product and Project teams. This chapter, made up of a wide range of professionals, focuses on the design, development and maintenance of software, including for critical infrastructures.

Main responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership Overseeing the definition and application of development and architecture strategies within the team and centres of excellence.E.g. Development and architecture, Git-, Testing-, Code Review-, DevOps-, Open Source- Strategy, micro-services, etc.
  • Developer management
    • Supervising developers on various projects, ensuring that the code meets high standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
    • Coordinating development projects to ensure efficient delivery of the required functionalities.
  • Agile participation
    • Working with business teams using agile methodologies.
    • Organising and optimising sprint reviews to ensure effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Application maintenance Updating and maintaining the application portfolio with the latest technologies, managing technical debt and plan the necessary resources.
  • Team Management Ensuring the cohesion and management of teams of developers, assessing contributions and training needs, and participating in the recruitment process.
  • Technological innovation Integrating and mastering new technologies, assessing their impact on the application portfolio and keeping the team up to date.
Your Profile

  • Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • At least eight years' experience in the development of Microsoft products.
  • Good knowledge of .Net 8 and above, microservices architecture, DDD, and high availability concepts and skills in DevOps, OAuth2, and other advanced technologies.
  • Ability to take responsibility for identifying and resolving issues to ensure the success of the project on time and to the expected quality.
  • Effective team management, overcoming technological, timeframe and financial constraints.
  • Ability to identify and analyse problems in order to formulate rapid and effective solutions.
  • Ability to integrate .NET technologies and functional aspects of the business to develop coherent solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling situations to be conveyed clearly to developers, project managers and department heads.
