Backend Developer

Job Description

We’re looking for a “Jr/ Mid Backend Developer ” to develop online games. The candidate will be excited to have the ground floor opportunity to be part of the design and development of worldwide used games. Miniclip is looking for Backend Developer to hire in our İzmir (Turkey) Masomo Gaming Studio. This position requires relocation to Izmir and full-time office-based work.

What will you be doing at Masomo?

Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features

• Collaborate with Mobile/Game Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Write and implement software solutions that integrate different systems
• Good communication with stakeholders
• Manage his/her own schedule
• Have fun while working
  
  

What are we looking for?

Min 1 year of experience at developing enterprise level applications with Php

• Experience on;
• Golang, PHP or Python
• Building and using REST APIs & TCP/UDP Sockets
• Distributed cache architectures (Redis, Memcache etc.)
• No-Sql (Redis, MongoDB, ScyllaDB etc.)
• Sql
• Knowledge about OOP principles, PSR standards, How relational and non-relational databases works
• Knowledge about Design Patterns is a big plus
• Willing to learn/adapt new technologies
• Experience with Linux (Centos knowledge is a plus)
• A solid understanding of agile methodologies, issue management systems and version control systems
• Empathize with what user feels and wants
• Good team player with good communication/collaboration skills and strong analytical approach
• High troubleshooting skills under stressful cases
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities
• Proactive, dedicated, committed and responsible
• No military service obligation for a minimum of 2 years
• Residence in İzmir
