As part of a strategic Marketing & Sales initiative, we are seeking a Senior Incubation Manager to lead the exploration, innovation, and incubation of new solutions that complement our existing portfolio and unlock new market opportunities.

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned leader who understands the complexity of our technologies and the dynamics of our global markets. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution—co-creating with customers and partners to shape the next generation of energy solutions.

This role can be based at any Hitachi Energy location within Europe.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As Incubation Manager, you will:

• Drive innovation by identifying, testing, and scaling new business models, services, and solutions in collaboration with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional teams through the incubation lifecycle—from ideation and validation to go-to-market and integration
• Shape strategy and culture by fostering a mindset of experimentation, agility, and customer obsession across the organization
• Influence executive leadership by presenting data-driven insights and business cases that align with our innovation and growth strategy
• Build bridges between business units, R&D, and the market to ensure alignment with existing roadmaps while exploring new frontiers
  
  

Your background

We’re Looking For a Well-rounded, Senior Professional With

• Extensive experience in innovation management, incubation, or strategic portfolio development, ideally in the energy, industrial, or B2B tech sectors
• A strong grasp of Hitachi Energy’s technologies, markets, and customer landscape
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• A track record of delivering innovation in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially at senior and executive levels
• A degree in business, engineering, innovation, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus
