Role Overview

We're looking for a highly experienced Full Stack Developer with a deep focus on backend Java API development to lead mission-critical platform engineering tasks. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable APIs, integrating with smart contracts, and ensuring smooth operation of our wallet, tokenization, and trade financing logic.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus) for:

Trade agreements

Invoice tokenization lifecycle

KYC/AML modules

MPC wallet management

On-ramp and off-ramp integrations (Ripple, Stellar, etc.)

Collaborate with frontend developers (React) to ensure clean integration and data flows

Build modular, scalable microservices that power a multi-chain DeFi + RWA infrastructure

Connect with smart contracts (Solidity, zkSync, EVM) via web3j or custom connectors

Implement security and role-based access (RBAC) across all APIs and wallets

Develop features that enable:

Auto-investment from LPs into trade pools

Auto-withdrawals for exporters

FX swaps across stablecoins via on-chain DEXs

Integrate third-party services (e.g., KYC providers, custodians, FX oracles, off-chain storage)

Optimize performance, reliability, and security of backend services

Write clean, testable, well-documented code (unit + integration tests)

Work directly with the CTO and product team on system architecture and scaling

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong expertise in Java, with recent hands-on experience in Spring Boot or Quarkus

Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture

Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Proficient in React.js, Tailwind/Material UI (basic frontend work as needed)

Familiarity with web3 frameworks, EVM, zkSync, and Solidity interaction

Experience with MPC wallets, crypto custody, or secure transaction flows is a major plus

Knowledge of financial systems, trade finance, or invoice-based marketplaces is preferred

Comfortable working in a startup/rapid-build environment with minimal oversight

Nice to Have

Experience with zkEVM-based chains (zkSync, Polygon CDK, Linea)

Understanding of compliance/KYC layers and integration

Familiarity with Rollups-as-a-Service infrastructure (e.g., Zeeve)

Prior involvement in token offerings or DeFi protocols

Experience deploying on Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native stacks
