Lead Java Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will take the lead in prototyping and configuring a Kubernetes-based platform, working closely with a platform architect to create proofs of concept (PoC) and prototypes. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with the platform architect to design and execute PoC and prototypes for a Kubernetes-based platform
Build and maintain robust Java applications and services to support platform requirements
Utilize Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Config to develop scalable and efficient solutions
Configure and deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Integrate enterprise applications with JBoss EAP for deployment and management
Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability and functionality
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for prototypes and developed solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and requirements are met

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
Advanced proficiency in Java programming for creating scalable and reliable applications
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for managing and orchestrating containers
Strong expertise in Spring Boot for microservices development and Spring Cloud Config for configuration management
Familiarity with JBoss EAP for enterprise-level application deployment
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with Fluentbit for log collection and processing
Familiarity with Grafana for system monitoring and data visualization
Knowledge of OpenSearch for advanced search and analytics capabilities
Understanding of Prometheus for monitoring and metrics collection
Experience with Spring Vault for managing secure secrets and configuration
