Job Description : Web Design and Development



    • Primary skill: SharePoint development, Front-End Web Development

    Additional skills: UI/UX design + Power BI development

    Detailed JD: -

    SharePoint Online (Modern Experience)

    • Creating and customizing modern SharePoint pages and site collections
    • Using and configuring web parts, site layouts, and navigation
    • Applying and managing site themes and branding
    • Managing permissions, versioning, and content structures
    • Creating and managing Lists and Document Libraries
    • Using Power Automate for workflow automation (e.g. request triage)

    Power BI Integration

    • Publishing and managing reports in the Power BI Service
    • Embedding Power BI reports into SharePoint Online using:
    • "Embed in SharePoint Online" option
    • JavaScript/Power BI REST API (for custom embedding)
    • Configuring Row-Level Security (RLS) and access controls

    UI/UX And Design Skills

    • Designing clean and intuitive user interfaces for intranet experiences
    • Aligning visual design with organizational branding and style guidelines
    • Applying user-centered design principles to improve usability
    • Conducting stakeholder workshops to gather design requirements
    • Performing usability testing and iterating based on feedback
    • Understanding layout, spacing, color contrast, and typography best practices

    Front-End Web Development

    • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
    • Familiarity with React (especially for SPFx development)
    • Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Fluent UI
    • Applying responsive design principles for multi-device compatibility
    • Ensuring accessibility compliance
    • Building interactive UI elements like filters, tabs, modals, etc.

    Supporting Tools & Platforms

    • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools: SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate
    • Familiarity with the Power Platform: Power Apps and Power Automate
    • Working knowledge of Azure AD for identity and access management
    • Use of GitHub and modern front-end build tools

    Soft Skills & Other Requirements

    • Ability to translate business/user needs into technical solutions
    • Experience engaging stakeholders and gathering requirements
    • Conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback
    • Clear documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
