Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring incoming supplier quality data, treating it with equal importance as the physical rack. This role involves working closely with Supplier IT teams, building virtual factory models, prototyping new metrics, and partnering internally with other data providers to provide key insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming supplier quality data for racks, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Drive supplier compliance with data expectations and drive CAPA-style investigations when data quality does not meet expectations.
• Collaborate with Supplier IT teams on Manufacturing Shop Floor changes, updates, and additions for data integration on new products and workflows.
• Develop and maintain virtual factory models for use by the Hardware Quality teams on insight generation.
• Prototype new metrics and insights from Manufacturing data for the Hardware Quality Team, preparing them for ingestion into Data Analytics teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, quality engineering, or a related field.
• Strong data querying skills using SQL (or equivalent).
• Competent in programming languages, such as Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in master data governance and data quality best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Certification in data science or quality engineering.
