Security Operations & Incident Manager,

Function

Managing and monitoring the external security partner or partners, responsible for static surveillance, mobile patrols and interventions monitoring contractual agreements, the quality of implementation and alignment with internal needs;
Coordinating the organisational functioning of the internal Security Operations Center (SOC) and ensuring efficient collaboration between internal and external parties;
Supporting and ensuring the correct handling of operational security questions; advising on access issues, badge management, site security measures and the following up of specific security reports;
Playing a crucial role in operational security and reporting on this to various stakeholders;
Monitoring the operational security budget checking invoices, preparing budgets, analysing the impact of additional measures on the budget, etc.
Coordinating the incident management process (security incident response plan) at Elia analysing reports, monitoring the handling and implementing improvement proposals;
Monitoring travel security with a view to ensuring the safety of employees during foreign business trips;
Acting as a central point of contact about incidents with a potential impact on the safety of employees, infrastructure and the company;
Preparing reports, analyses and recommendations in respect of incidents, threats and risks, with the continuous improvement of processes and measures in mind;
Coordinating event security, which includes preparing security files and inspections upon delivery of the event location.

Your Profile

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with a relevant specialisation (safety sciences, criminology or political sciences) or equivalent experience;
A private investigator certificate or willing to complete the course necessary to obtain this certificate;
A minimum of five years’ experience in a security-related domain;
In-depth knowledge and experience of incident processes;
Insight into threat analyses, risk management and organisational resilience;
Fluent spoken and written command of French or Dutch (basic knowledge of the other language is also necessary);
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into concrete action;
Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team;
Experience with the preparation of procedures, plans and reports.
