PROJECT

You’ll work on the design, coding, testing, and debugging of moderately complex applications that support large-scale systems used by airline, hotel, and travel agency customers. YOU WILL

• Develop and maintain Java-based software solutions
• Work on both new functionalities and the maintenance of existing applications
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues with support from senior engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product functionality
• Participate in problem analysis and provide ideas for system improvements
• Assist in creating technical documentation and optimizing performance
• Follow agile development practices in a collaborative team setting

MUST HAVE

• 1–2 years of experience in Java software development
• Solid knowledge of Java and Java EE technologies
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, and web services
• Understanding of object-oriented design and analysis
• Experience with XML and REST/SOAP Web Services
• Working knowledge of Oracle or other relational databases (SQL)
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Experience with build tools like Ant, Maven, or Gradle
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Apache Camel and/or ServiceMix
• Good command of English (spoken and written)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Familiarity with JMS/MOM, JBoss, Drools, or JMX
• Understanding of TDD and experience with JUnit or unit testing practices
