Golang Software Engineer

A prop trading firm is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a core engineering team and help build high-performance infrastructure. This is a high-impact role at the technical heart of the firm which is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building from the ground up.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience with Go
• Professional knowledge of concurrency, memory management and performance optimisation
• Experience designing and deploying microservice architectures and REST APIs
• Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering, maths (or related field)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance backend systems in Go
• Collaborate with trading and infrastructure teams to deliver low-latency, real-time solutions
• Ensure system reliability, observability and performance tuning
• Lead infrastructure automation and CI/CD enhancements while driving code quality through reviews and technical leadership.
• Background in Crypto, high frequency trading is a plus
