Project Support Officer

Responsibilities:

The Project Support Officer will:

• Assist in managing project activities from planning through to execution under the guidance of senior project leaders.
• Communicate project updates and concerns to both team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely fashion.
• Collaborate regularly with stakeholders to ensure transparency and ongoing involvement.
• Contribute to resource planning and team assignment estimations necessary for project success.
• Track timelines and milestones using project management software or tools.
• Monitor deliverables and maintain clear status reports.
• Alert the project manager to any changes in scope and assist in developing contingency actions when necessary.
• Handle day-to-day project logistics to reduce operational risks.
• Draft clear, concise, and professional project correspondence and documentation.
• Apply appropriate project management techniques in line with established standards.
• Support preparation efforts for quality assurance reviews and stakeholder evaluations.
• Maintain complete and organized project documentation systems.
• Conduct basic financial tracking and ensure adherence to budgets where applicable.
• Use current tools and best practices to support project execution and delivery.
• Fulfill additional duties as required to support the overall success of the project team.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in project coordination, operational support, event management, or communications/public relations
• Experience supporting administrative aspects of person-centred care certification programs in decentralized healthcare networks with 50+ beds is preferred.
