Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Python-based applications.
  • Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in Python codebases.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs using JSON.
  • Write clean, testable code using unit testing and mocking frameworks like Pytest.
  • Participate in Test-Driven Development (TDD) processes.
  • Integrate and manage MySQL databases effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Utilize Azure IoT and cloud services for application deployment and management.
  • Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and source control tools like Git.
  • Use development tools such as PyCharm for efficient coding and debugging.
  • Contribute to planning, estimation, and code reviews within the Agile team.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Proficient in at least one Python framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles in Python.
  • Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Pytest.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and JSON.
  • Good experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
  • Working knowledge of Azure IoT Hub and Azure Cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or similar version control and CI/CD tools.
  • Comfortable using PyCharm or similar IDEs.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure or Python-related technologies.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
