Business Data Analyst

Essential Experience

• Has 6+ years of experience with data and analytics in a technical / business systems analyst role.
• Experience as a Data Business Analyst in end-to-end enterprise data architecture, design and delivery.
• Experience and exposure to different types of data platforms.
• Experience in leading, contributing to and facilitating workshops, preparing and presenting workshop materials and preparing data-centric examples to validate understanding and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions that align with organisational goals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Large complex enterprise environment experience is required.
• Large technology transformation experience is desirable.

Technical and/or Professional Qualifications/ Skills Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in business system analysis, data analysis, data modelling, data architecture for data related assets.
• Strong understanding of business process, business capability, data flow across systems within a large, complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data integration and data security principles and techniques.
• Experience in enabling development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Exposure to diverse data architecture designs comprising data grid, data fabric, data lakehouse, data vault, data marts, MDM, graph databases, etc.
