Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs that power our applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize backend processes for scalability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Document technical decisions, systems architecture, and processes clearly.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose relevant adoption to enhance the product.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role in a professional setting.
• Expertise in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—collaboration and clarity are essential in our remote setup.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in distributed, agile teams—especially in remote-first environments.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Background in building scalable microservices architectures.
