Operations Intern

Position Overview:

As an Operations Intern at KuCoin EU, you will support the execution of operational initiatives, compliance tasks, and data-driven projects across KuCoin’s growing European business. This internship is ideal for motivated students or recent graduates eager to learn about the intersection of fintech innovation, cryptocurrency, and European regulation. You’ll work closely with experienced leaders in the field and gain hands-on exposure to the operational engine behind one of the world’s leading digital asset platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating user acquisition and retention initiatives across operational campaigns
• Help design and evaluate reward systems and incentive models for KuCoin users in the EU
• Support the implementation and tracking of compliance processes related to MiCAR, MiFID II, and EMI regulations
• Conduct market and competitor research to provide insights for growth and operational improvements
• Help prepare reports and dashboards using data platforms like Excel, Looker, or Tableau
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Legal for various go-to-market initiatives

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of the crypto ecosystem or keen interest in fintech and blockchain
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn tools like JIRA, Tableau, or similar
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment

Bonus Skills (not required):

• Familiarity with MiCAR, MiFID II, or related EU compliance topics
• Previous experience in a startup or tech environment
• Knowledge of customer lifecycle management or marketing operations
