Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business and functional requirements into high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
• Apply Jetpack Compose and Material 3 Design for modern UI development.
• Ensure optimal app performance, usability, and reliability through unit testing and TDD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, analysts) to deliver sprint goals.
• Integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and external data sources.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Maintain continuous integration pipelines and adhere to DevOps principles.
• Actively participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement efforts.

Skills Required (Mandatory):

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Android development.
• Strong command of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of Android SDKs (multiple versions).
• Proven experience with Material 3 Design principles.
• Test-driven development (TDD) experience.
• Clean code principles and refactoring expertise.
• Familiarity with Git/SVN, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and 3rd-party library integration.
• Agile mindset and experience working in Scrum teams.

Nice to Have (Preferred):

• Knowledge of Docker, Containers, and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Practical experience in large development teams with pair programming and Agile ceremonies.
