Medior AI Engineer – Computer Vision

About the Role

A fast-growing company in the AgTech space is looking for a Medior AI Engineer to join their applied research and product team. The company develops AI-powered solutions that help automate and improve quality control in the fresh produce supply chain, from farms to retailers.

You’ll work on real-world computer vision challenges in a niche domain where deep learning meets sustainability, helping shape the next generation of AI tools for agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve computer vision models focused on visual inspection of fruits and vegetables
• Support ongoing research into defect detection, classification, and process optimization
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and agricultural experts to translate needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to the design of scalable, maintainable ML pipelines using modern tools
• Stay up to date on developments in deep learning, CV, and MLOps

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience working in machine learning or computer vision
• Practical experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Solid Python programming skills and understanding of data engineering workflows
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker, cloud deployment, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
