We’re expanding our Corporate OmaElisa development team and are on the lookout for a skilled Full Stack Developer. In this role, you’ll play a key part in evolving OmaElisa Classic — our flagship service for large corporate customers.

Who are we? We are Elisa Online Services and Growth - an agile group in Elisa’s Digital Services unit developing online services for our customers. We are over 100 software professionals in multiple teams. Elisa provides us a solid foundation to continuously develop ourselves to be even more agile and what we do directly affects all Elisa’s current and future customers so what we do really matters and has value.

Role Description

In this role you will join our multitalented and multicultural team to develop Corporate Classic Oma Elisa. Main tasks besides the actual coding will be refining new features and splitting the requirements into smaller stories, improving and maintaining codebase, performing code reviews, test automation and DevOps tasks. We expect you to be Full Stack developer but your focus can be more either on Frontend or Backend development. Our stack is wide but the most used techs are Java and Javascript. We expect you to have several years of experience in Java and JavaScript.

Since Bacon.js is central to our front-end stack, prior experience with it would be a significant asset.

Our team uses agile methodologies, and we are proud of the quality of our code. You will enjoy your role if you thrive in a team environment, since we like working closely together. We expect that you have experience in guiding and mentoring others and doing code reviews. You are fully aware that testing and documentation are vital parts of software development and you do them accordingly. You’re eager to explore our codebase and to weigh our working methods and you know how to push things to be solved. Our primary working language is English; however, proficiency in Finnish is considered an advantage.

What do we expect from you?

• You have several years of solid experience in modern software development
• Java and JavaScript, especially Bacon.js are very familiar to you
• You are a team player and have experience working in an agile team
