As Security & Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our platform and operations meet the highest standards of regulatory, security, and operational excellence. This role suits someone comfortable acting as both an individual contributor and collaborative partner across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Frameworks

• Lead ISO 27001 implementation, audits, and continuous improvement
• Maintain compliance with GDPR and financial regulations
• Develop and maintain internal security and compliance policies

Automation & Efficiency

• Implement automation tools for monitoring and reporting (e.g. SIEM, GRC platforms, scripting)
• Identify and streamline compliance processes using modern technologies
• Embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) alongside Engineering teams

Risk & Incident Management

• Perform risk assessments and drive mitigation efforts
• Monitor and escalate key compliance/security risks
• Support incident response processes and post-incident analysis

Stakeholder Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Product
• Present security and compliance requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in client and regulator audits, providing clear documentation and evidence

Requirements

• 3–5 years in a compliance or security role, ideally within fintech or banking
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, and financial sector regulation
• Experience with automation tools such as SIEM, GRC platforms, or scripting
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and secure SDLC practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Degree in a relevant field; ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor certification preferred
• Proactive, detail-focused, with a strong sense of accountability
• Compatent in NIST would be an advantage
