MID SOFTWARE DEVELOPER • NETWORKING SOLUTIONS

We are looking for a Mid Software Engineer to strengthen our developers team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your developing skills.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, modems and IoT systems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for networking devices.
• Analyze emerging technologies and evaluate their integration potential.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in network devices and communication protocols.
• Develop and maintain routing systems, services, and APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

What we expect of you:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Lua or similar.
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems and environments.
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience working with OpenWRT or VyOS platforms.
• Solid understanding of computer networks and networking concepts.
• Experience with C programming language for system-level or networking applications.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 30 Eur/h (3300 Eur— 4950Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.
