Analyst Developer (.NET)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, a passion for building high-quality software solutions and ideally an experience within the banking sector. This role will involve working on various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements.
• Develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure .NET applications.
• Design and implement software solutions using VB.NET, C#, .NET Framework, and other related technologies.
• Develop and consume web APIs, integrate with third-party services, and manage data exchange processes.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit and integration testing to enhance application performance and reliability and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in .NET development, with a strong proficiency in C#.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, or .NET 5+.
• Proficiency in working with databases using SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, quickly adapt to new technologies, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge in COBOL programming and IBM mainframe development is a plus.
• Knowledge in release management is also a plus.
• Fluent in French with good English language knowledge.
