Microsoft BI Engineer (m/f)

Experis IT Luxembourg is actively looking for a Microsoft BI Engineer (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Participate in business and functional workshops to gather and analyze reporting and data requirements.
• Design scalable and robust BI architectures and dimensional data models.
• Develop and manage ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Build and optimize OLAP and Tabular data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Create and publish interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure solution reliability and relevance.
• Provide recommendations on best practices in data governance, quality, and performance optimization.

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a similar role.
• Solid expertise in the Microsoft BI stack: SSIS, SSAS (Tabular/Multidimensional), SSRS, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schema).
• Proven experience with data quality, documentation, and governance practices.
• Knowledge of the Azure Data ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power Platform) is a plus.
• C1 level English and French
